PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

SAD Marketing is concerned about the protection of personal data and the privacy of anyone who accesses its website. We are also aware of the need to enable everyone to have control over their personal data.

This online personal data protection policy describes the types of personal data that SAD Marketing may collect and provides important information regarding your rights and the protection of your personal data.

This personal data protection policy also aims to comply with the new personal data protection regulation (Regulation No. 2016/679) – effective since May 25, 2018.

1. Data Controller: who collects personal data?

2. Personal Data: what types of data are collected and for what purposes?

The term “personal data” refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to them.

When SAD Marketing collects your personal data, this collection is carried out in a fair and transparent manner through the presence of information notices or references to this Policy, via either the registration field for our Newsletter, an email reception (contact or application requests), or during your navigation on our site.

SAD Marketing is committed to collecting your personal data only for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not to process this data subsequently in a manner incompatible with these purposes.

SAD Marketing may, based on your consent which you can withdraw at any time, process your personal data to meet the following purposes:
– registration for our Newsletter (email address)
– a contact request made by email (email addresses, first name, last name, professional contact details).
– a job application made by email (email address, CV)
– the functioning of the website (operational cookies and statistical analysis cookies).

3. Recipients of personal data: who has access to your information?

Only members of the relevant departments of SAD Marketing have access to and process your personal data, particularly for CVs and applications. SAD Marketing may, exceptionally, use its internal technical service (at the Villeneuve d’Ascq headquarters) or French technical service providers for maintenance operations of its information system (IS) and data servers. These providers are contractually bound to respect the confidentiality and security of the data. SAD Marketing also undertakes not to sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent.

4. Retention period: how long are your personal data kept?

In the context of a contact request by email (BtoB) or a registration for the SAD Marketing Newsletter, the information is kept for 3 years from the date of collection or the last contact from the person concerned. For job applications, CVs are kept for a maximum of 2 years from their receipt. Other information (cover letter, etc.) is kept until the end of the probationary period of the successful candidate. For spontaneous applications, the information is kept for a maximum of 1 year from the date of receipt.
Cookies placed on your computer during your visit to www.sadmarketing.com (after your acceptance) are automatically disabled 13 months after the date they were placed.

6. Rights of individuals: what are your rights regarding the processing of your personal data and how to exercise them?

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, you have the following rights over your data: right of access, right of rectification, right to erasure (right to be forgotten), right to object, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability. You can also define directives regarding the retention, deletion, and communication of your personal data after your death.

You can object at any time to the processing of your data:
• for marketing purposes without providing any specific reason,
• for any other purposes, for reasons related to your particular situation, unless SAD Marketing demonstrates that there are legitimate and compelling reasons that prevail over your interests and rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

In general, to exercise your rights, please address your letter to the attention of the Management at SAD Marketing, 23 rue de la Performance, 59650 Villeneuve D’Ascq, or by email to accueil-web@sad-marketing.com, attaching a copy of an identity document (to prove that you are the beneficiary of the right).
If you no longer wish to receive the SAD Marketing Newsletter, you can simply unsubscribe by clicking on the link provided in each Newsletter.
Subject to a breach of the above provisions, you have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL.

7. Protection of minors’ personal data

The SAD Marketing website is not intended for minors under the age of 15. That is why we do not collect or retain personal data about minors under the age of 15 without obtaining verifiable parental consent, knowing that the parents of the child may request to receive information about their child and request its deletion.
