Reading the figures

The 133 stores are a record drawn from Foursquare Open Places, not a count published by the brand — this country has not been calibrated yet — its recorded counts have not been confronted with the network sizes brands publish.

The reach indicators — coverage, index by canton — are robust to that bias: they measure a distance and a population, which a location described twice does not move. Recorded 27 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions about Avec in Switzerland

Everything you need to know about our solutions.

How many stores does Avec have in Switzerland?

The record of 27 October 2026 identifies 133 Avec stores in Switzerland, across 23 cantons. This is a record, not an official count: this country has not been calibrated yet — its recorded counts have not been confronted with the network sizes brands publish. The figure serves to compare networks rather than to count stores.

What share of Switzerland does Avec reach?

52.4 % of the population lives within 5 kilometres of an Avec, and 79 % within 10 kilometres. Coverage counts each population cell once, however many locations reach it, which makes it insensitive to the double-counting that affects raw location totals.
